ESATAP
is ESA's answer to the need expressed by the user
community for a well-validated, independent and customisable
thermal post-processing software.
ESATAP shall be an open platform for thermal analysis and shall provide
both basic and advanced tools to fulfil a wide variety of user needs. |

Capabilities |
ESATAP
will provide the following functions:
- flexible toolbox management, allowing modular computation of
thermal output data,
- integration of external modules into ESATAP scripts,
- import/export of thermal data compatible to STEP-TAS and NRF
protocols,
- tabular, 2D and 3D reports generation,

Post-processing
for space thermal analysis.

3D geometry viewer with thermal properties and
faces viewing capabilities.

Technologies |
ESATAP
will be fully Open Source based, developped in Python,
wxPython, HDF5, VTK, and Gnuplot. The OSS tools have
been selected by the DOREA team in order to fit as
better as possible to the project requirements (up
to 60 products have been tested).
The tool will be portable under Windows and Linux operating systems. |
